February Guild Meeting will be a panel of a wide variety of farmers. We will hear from them about their farming journeys, ask them about what stacking functions and “value added” means for them on their farms, ask questions and have some lively discussion on the glory and challenges of trying to farm. I hope a bunch of you join us for this!!
Our farmers are Anne Drehfal of Regenerative Roots in Jefferson County, Jacob Marty of Green Fire Farm in Monroe Co., Jeanne Lydon of Sun Harvest Farm outside of Sun Prairie, and Erin Schneider of Hilltop Community Farm in Sauk County. These are all very different farming ventures so there will be a lot of diversity in their experiences and businesses. We are so pleased to be offering this up for everyone. Please invite any friends you might think would be interested. Part of my reason for doing this is putting a lens of reality around what it really takes to farm and/or homestead. If others on this list would like to join the panel just show up and join in!!
