November Guild Meeting is Thursday, November 19th

Please join us for our monthly Permaculture Guild meeting on Thursday, November 19th.  Everyone is welcome!!

First Congregational Church at University Avenue and Breeze Terrace.  Parking for the church on Lathrop Avenue.  One small lot right behind, and another one kitty corner across the street on Lathrop.  Free parking.  There is also street parking in the area.  This is on campus and accessible by buses.  We meet in the Basement in Fellowship Hall.  Follow the signs.  Elevator accessible.

6:30 – 7:15 pm: Potluck and Catching up.  Please bring your own dishes and silver (tho we always have extra.)  Also, bring a dish to pass if so choose, or just hang with us.

7:15 – 8:15 pm:  Presentation and discussion led by Drew Carlson.

Cloud Forest Permaculture

Join the Madison Area Permaculture Guild at their monthly meeting where Drew Carlson will be presenting on his trip to Mindo, Ecuador where he was part of the install team for a Sepp Holzer inspired design installation developed by Zach Weiss of Elemental Ecosystems. Drew will share photos and videos that cover the installation of terraces, house sites, natural spring casing and a dam. There will be time for questions following the presentation.

 

8:15 – 8:30:  Clean-up

This is open to the public.  Please invite your friends.  Children are welcome.  There are usually jugglers right down the hall practicing…….
