Hey folks! Did you know that Aronia berries are a super food? A local farmer at Carandales included them in his test of unusual fruits in Wisconsin a few years back. He liked them so much he has a field of them. Find out more at the garden this Wednesday. There is a lot available for harvest: lemon balm, mint, hyssop, yarrow, anise hyssop, and white sagebrush for making smudge sticks. You can dig up divisions of these plants too.
Wednesday, August 19 6:00 to 8:30 pm
Come even if you can’t make it right at 6:00. We have been breaking around 7:00 or 7:30 to learn about our herb of the day.
There will be light weeding so please bring water, bug spray, and a favored tool. There are tools available as well. No prior gardening experience needed. We look forward to visiting with you!
