August Monthly Meeting Thursday, August 20th

Please come join us for the MAPG monthly meeting.

Our guest in August is Erin Schneider of Hilltop Community Farm talking about her involvement with, and the project of, the Soil Quilt and honoring the International Year of Soil.

Unearthing a Soil Quilt

Celebrate the 2015 Int’l Year of Soils by honoring and learning about the soil community locally. Explore and share in the making of a soil quilt, with a stitch or two and a story about your connection to the soil, the land and our foodshed and celebrate what happens when art, curiosity and soil biology are woven together.
