Northside Sap Boil & Mushroom Propagation Event:
All Day Saturday and Into the Night

We will work on building the rocket stove Friday evening and start boiling early on Saturday. If we aren’t done by about 10pm, lest some volunteers want to pull an all-nighter, we’ll find a good stopping point and start up again Sunday morning.
Bring your sap to boil and snacks/drinks for yourself or to share. We can easily fire up the grill if you want to bring something to cook. We have a stack of chairs, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring your own if you have one.
You don’t have to have sap collected to join us, we welcome many hands to keep the stove fire stoked and to share this celebration of spring. All are welcome!
Also this year we hope to have a mushroom propagation table set up to plug logs with mushroom spawn. For a suggested donation of $1 per 1 foot of log… or so… you can take a plugged log home with you, too!
