March Monthly Meeting with Natural Building presentation by Jarad Barkheim & Propagation Techniques by Math Heinzel & Sue Hessel

A big heads-up that our March meeting will be on the 4th Thursday instead of the 3rd due to our speaker’s schedule needs.

 Thursday, March 27th

6:30-8:30 pm

St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church

5700 Pheasant Hill Rd., Monona, WI 53716

Park in back and come in the double glass doors.  We will either be in the Fireside Rm. immediately on your left or up the steps and on the left in the community room.

Potluck from 6:30-7:00 pm:  Please bring your own dishes and silver and dish to pass.  Not to worry if you have already eaten.  Come anyway and visit.  This is a great time to share and catch up with each other.

7:15-8:00 pm:  Presentation by Natural Builder and Permaculturist Jarad Barkeim.

Jarad Barkeim grew up on the Mississippi River and has since travelled extensively throughout the United States.  He has a degree in education and has taught high school science and coached several sports. He is a yoga instructor in LaCrosse, WI. With seven years experience building hiking trails and leading trail crews in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California combined with what he has learned in numerous natural building workshops and trainings, he has developed a wide array of natural building skills.

Jarad holds a Bachelors of Science in Science Education from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and a Permaculture Design Certificate.  Jarad now lives in LaCrosse, WI, and serves as Project Manager at Kinstone.

This should be a great presentation (I’ve seen it) and we will have time for questions and discussion at the end.

8:00-8:30 or after:  Propagation techniques by MAPG’s Math Heinzel and Sue Hessel

So, please save the date and join us in welcoming Jarad to MAPG.
